By 1919, the people felt the need to have
services and Christian instruction for young
people in the English language. So on May 2,
1920 the Trinity Norwegian Evangelical Lutheran
Church disbanded and the Trinity Lutheran
English Evangelical Church was organized with 46
charter members. Rev. W. H. Gable,
who was serving Trinity Lutheran Church in
Glenbum, was called to serve as Pastor
with the understanding that the Lansford and
Glenburn churches would become one
parish and become a member of the Northwest
Synod of the United Lutheran Church in America. |
